Oppressive Heat

I directed and photographed 100 Degrees. The concept was simple: make the audience feel the heat. Harsh natural light, intentional overexposure, blown highlights — the image should feel uncomfortable. I shot in 4:3 to tighten the frame and amplify the claustrophobia. There's nowhere to hide in a 4:3 close-up under direct sun.
